The time for how long the heat lasts depends on the outside temperature and how often you open the lid. The lid is screwed on/off. There is also a smaller lid in the lid for possible storage of a sugar cube or a tea bag. However, the purpose is to be able to release the vacuum if the cork is sucked into the thermos.

The good thing is that it is not equipped with a so-called beep. This reduces the risk of the pipe breaking (especially in winter).
