The Thule system "nickname" among some troops abroad is the "Bearskin" because of its insulation ability.

Thule Trouser has zippers on both sides so you can reinforce the  thighs and genital area without having to take off boots and pants. Just open the pants and pull them down towards the muddy or icy boots.

Take on the Thule trouser and pull on my pants again. It cant get faster and esier then that. The garment is perfect for climbers who do not want to take off their crampons on an icy shelf.

Thule trouser lacks an inner lining that is wind proof. This because the garment whit out liner then dries as quickly as possible if it gets wet. Liners bind moisture and takes longer to dry in the field.

Thule trouser helps to reduce the volume and weight for the trooper, hunter or fisher and there is no need for salopets etc. Thule trouser has also become popular among drivers of snowmobiles and open jeeps then usually the most exposed part of the body is at the genital area and thighs.
