Taiga Field Trouser CPA08

Field Trouser CPA 08 m/90 green is the result of over 10 years of development work with various upgrades of the trousers since 2002. The suspenders of the field trousers are of unique construction. They are worn like a shoulder holster. This allows the belt to be opened without the trousers being pulled down over the hip crest. This can be good during hard marches in order to ventilate the crotch or not to tighten the air layers in colder weather (cold).

It is also possible to open the braces without them disappearing under the jacket/vest. If, for example, the soldier needs to take off his pants to take a shit or to strengthen the abdomen and legs with Thule reinforcement pants. The braces are attached to a fastening device that has double locking with Velcro.

The pockets are made of a mesh material where 1/3 of the pocket is a full-covering bottom in the pocket. This aims to further increase the possibilities for ventilation when marching. By opening the zippers in the pockets and the fly, the crotch is better ventilated.

Knees are already bent and have built-in knee protection which is mainly to protect against ground cold. These knee pads do not replace hard plastic knee pads such as the Hatch type. But they can use that type of knee protection over this built-in knee protection. The ends of the legs are designed like Swedish Defence Forces field trousers.

Recommended temperature for washing is 40 C. After washing, the garment should ideally be dried in a tumble dryer or drying cabinet. This is done so that the impregnation is reactivated. We still recommend that you impregnate the garment when washing, as the garments are exposed to heavy wear. The easiest way to do this is by pouring impregnation into the rinse compartment of the washing machine. Impregnation can be provided from us at Cold Skills. We have had clients who took advantage of this CPA instead. Their experience says that it ventilates better than the old one. This is because the new outer fabric breathes a little better. The unit has practiced with these racks up to + 5-10? Celsius. Then they had combat vests and over 100 liter back packs during the march.
