Taiga Field DTJ Shirt m/90 grö

Together with the customer, we have developed a field shirt for use in jungle climates. And then for personnel conducting patrols in really wet and hot climates. Waistbands and other details deemed of no importance in the field have been cut away. Priority has been for the fabric to dry as quickly as possible.

During the tests, the garment's ability to dry under jungle conditions has been prioritized.

All buttons are of so-called Canadian model which is much gentler on finger tips which tend to become more sensitive after a number of days in the field.

The breast pockets swallow note-taking material in waterproof cases in sizes up to A5. The closure of the pocket is of a "self-locking" model so that you do not lose material from the pocket during various types of movement.

In the middle of the chest pockets, a compass pocket has been placed for easy access, as when navigating in jungle environments this will often be used 100s of times per day to check that you are advancing in the correct bearing. The compass pocket is adapted for SILVA models Expedition 54 and 4. It is also possible to carry aiming compass SILVA Expedition 15-16 models. In the compass pocket there is also a cover to secure the compass in the pocket.

The shirt can either be closed with 6 buttons or alternatively with a zip and button. The purpose of the zipper is to make it difficult for small insects, ticks, etc. to enter the body.

The sleeves have velcro closure to be able to "seal" around the wrists and prevent buttons from getting stuck in vegetation etc. Pockets have been placed on the upper arms, which means that the operator can carry first aid kits, writing pads, etc.
