An alternative for tarring wooden skis is this Roslag mahogany, which is manufactured by SK's Kol & Tjärbränning in Kaunisvaara, Torendalen.
The mixture is 1/3 Dalburned tar, 1/3 Turpentine and 1/3 Linseed oil.
Roslag mahogany can be used for boats, sleds and wooden facades.
