Cold Skills OP-Tent olive

OP-tent has been developed with the aim of reducing the risk of detection with IR and IRV equipment. OP-tent is designed to reduce the signature when a masking net is used on top of the tent.

The tent allows the operator/s to aurally observe and visually observe 360 ​​degrees around the tent. In a sitting position, the observer can visually see in 4 different observation directions. And then the tent has been provided with a top fabric that prevents rainwater from being led into the tent. In the lying position, it is possible to observe in two main directions. This can be valuable for, for example, snipers.

The tent can also be used by and for K9 handlers with his dogs, FAC, OP- personnel, technical surveillance equipment.

The aim is partly to protect against weather, wind, cold, but also against compromise thru visual observation and IR/IRV equipment.

The tent has also been equipped with an inner tent which partly protects against mosquitoes and gnats but also has really good properties in winter. It is sufficiently ventilated that it  mostly get rid of the condensation that turns into frost inside the tent during colder weather. The large number of observation holes  can be used for ventilation.

The floor in the inner tent has waterproof, high edges so that in the event of heavy rain it should not run into the inner tent before the operator has had time to move his material and move out of the tent to regroup.

The construction of the tent gives the option to use dubbel amount of roods. This increases the stability in heavy winds and snowfall.
